Antique Tractor Pulling Rules
TRACTORS: Tractors must be model year 1965 or earlier to participate in the Antique Tractor Pulls.
ENTRY: Tractors may pull in 2 (two) classes - once in each class. You must be a member of the club in order to pull.
TIRE SIZE: OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer. Rims may not be wider than tire size.
SPEED: 1st gear not to exceed 2 3/4 miles per hour and not allowed to shift TA's. NO EXCEPTIONS!
WEIGHTS: Suitcase weights may be used. They must be secured with a ratchet or pull type straps; NO RUBBER STRAPS FOR ANYTHING.
HITCH: Minimum of 24" from center of rear axle; maximum of 18" height; clevis or hitch plate may be used of 3/4" to 1" thickness with 3" hole and a minumum of 1" material thickness around the hole.
ENGINE: Must have stock block, head, manifold, carburetor. Starter and battery must be in place, if so equipped; securely fastened.
FUEL: Gasoline, diesel, and LP only. NO ALCOHOL, or compressed fuels. No turbo chargers or super chargers.
RPM: 10% over factory rated high idle; random checking will be done.
SAFETY: Tractor may not raise more than 12"; measuring device will be used. Driver must remain seated at all times. Driver must start witha tight chain. Tractors must stay within the boundaries, but the sled is permitted to go out of bounds. Drivers must start and stop in accordance with the flagman's discretion. Tractors must be operated in a safe manner at all times. Speeds must not exceed 2 3/4 mph. on or off the track.
AGE: Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Drivers 14 to 17 years of age will also be accepted, but they must have the written consent of their parents, and their supervision.
INSPECTION: Tractors will be inspected before pulling by the Antique Tractor Pulls Committee. Any tractors judged to be unsafe or in violation of the rules will not be permitted to pull.
PULL ORDER: The order of the pull will be determined by the order of registration.
REGISTRATION: Drivers must be registered at least one hour prior to pull.
REPULLS: Each tractor is allowed a second attempt if the tractor stops before 40 feet. The first puller in each class has the option to drop to the end of the class and repull if desired. In case of a tie, a pull-off at the end of the class will take place. All decisions of the Antique Tractor Pull Committee are final. Any arguments will result in an automatic disqualification.
All participants pull at their own risk.
The club will not be responsible for any accidents and/or broken or damaged tractors.
This pull is strictly for fun; however, please keep safety first!
